Villa Fan here 45+ years, and a Brummie born and bred, I'm thankful that Blues are getting what they deserve at last! Its been embarrassing watching the decline of a Club that is as Important to the people and City of Birmingham as Aston Villa is! The City needs BOTH clubs to thrive at the Local National, and Global level, and any Villa fan who disagrees are just short sighted! Blues should easy get one of the Top 4 League 1 promotion spots! And I think being in League 1, and playing Wrexham twice will actually help Blues with the American attention on both Clubs! Those two games will get more publicity and American publicity as much as any premier league game! If Not more across the pond! As a Villa fan, im looking forward to the rise of blues! Exciting times for OUR City on both sides of the footballing divide!👍

Smart guy! Sounds like he's had the perfect coaching progression over 20 years, learning step by step, not rushing or jumping into a role or job just for a bigger club or more money! And now itx paid of with the perfect Head Coach/Manager opportunity at a Big Club at the start of something big, and conversely at a the ideal Level for him in League 1! Still big pressure though ar such an ambitious moment of club! Owners and Fans will be foaming for instant promotion in his first year! Whereas as Wrexham now, its the first year Phil Parkinson won't be under as much pressure, as Wrexham will be content to finish in Top half, with a play off place being a bonus! Blues should easily get one of Top 4 promotion spots!!🤔

Seems like a good appointment. Hope Blues get rolling and promotion, its embarrassing for the whole City of Birmingham where they are now! And Im a Villa fan of 45+ years! Id like to see them in top 6 of Championship soon as as least! But, they got some much wirk to do on and off the pitch to get the club ready to fight for Promotion WHEN they get back into the Championship. The Owners are right, Blues need a New stadium to really exploit their full size and fanbase. No point renovating ground or building a new stand etc. May as well go rhe whole hog! It would fit perfectly as ot could take 3 - 5 years to get back into Premier League. Might as well build a New Standium in time for that new Era! As a Villa fan, its not the same type of Derby playing Wolves! They barely count! P.S Im really looking forward to Blues V Wrexham! Thats going to be a great media/WTW Documentary event/fin match to watch! And honestly, with the American owner involvement of both clubs, its going to be the biggest match and most global eyeballs on Blues for decades! I expect some big Hollywood Hitters at both games!😮
